A Relaxing New Year

We're back from Yorkshire, having travelled back this afternoon.  We've been staying where mobile signals and internet access is patchy, so I haven't managed to blog for a couple of days, nor read many posts.   On the way home I used my dongle to do a bit of catching up which made the journey pass a lot quicker.  A bit belated but

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We had a lovely relaxing few days this New Year in Yorkshire.  We managed to get around and visit everyone we needed to without too much difficulty.  We had some lovely fresh air and long walks with the dog, watched a few films, played lots of games, did a bit more sale shopping and spent time catching up with family and friends.  Little Bird had a great few days spending time with her cousins who she adores.  So all round it was a lovely time.

Back in London on a cold, wet New Years Day evening and we're having spaghetti for supper and I'm looking around at piles of 'stuff' that need to be rehomed, washed, unpacked, etc.  I'm not going to worry about it though.  It'll get done when it gets done.  I'm going to enjoy a very simple supper and then relax in front of the TV for the evening and appreciate being back in my home.  I hope you and yours had a super New Year.  I'll be back with some of my plans for the coming year.

    1. I'm doing the same. I like the 12th night ritual and let decorations to linger for a while when we get back from our family visits. I do enjoy it when they go back up in the loft though.
